At last, a win!!

FINALLY, the Caps remember how to win a game. Basically after the 2nd period this game was decided.
Now to keep this up come tomorrow night...

If the Caps are gonna mail it in the rest of the season, I have one favor to ask:
Just put Braden Holtby in goal the rest of the way, all right?? I gotta have some reason to use this picture...lol

     While I'm at it, I never saw Tomas Vokoun coming down the pike either. Suddenly, we've forgotten Semyon Varlamov was even here in Washington. Go figure...

     But at least we know Ovie's back in form, what with 2 goals last night (Thursday, 10/20). ALWAYS bet on #8, people!!
     Look, even I can see the Caps ain't going 84-0-0...so I'm enjoying this while I can.

All right, WHO made the mistake?

     And here I thought Semyon Varlamov had a future in Washington. Stupid-ass me...LMFAO
     I find out today, that Varly's been traded to Colorado for a 1st-round pick in next year's NHL Draft plus a 2nd-rounder in either 2012 or '13. Either way, it seems to me that either Varly or the Caps have made a colossal fuck-up here.
     I wish I knew...

     So it looks as though Michal Neuwirth is here to stay...for now. A lot can change between now and the start of the season. Who knows what'll happen next?

     Greetings, one and all. And welcome to the debut of my Capitals fan blog.
     Originally I was going to call it "Alex the 8...Simply Sensational!!", after an old FanNation group of mine. But this one's better...lol
     Anyway, as to me...

     I am not a "bandwagoneer" (is that a fucking word?). I've followed the Caps since DAY ONE of the franchise. So I know what it was "back in the day"...as some of these pics attest.
     When it comes time for hockey to pick back up, I'll be here. Till then...UNLEASH THE FURY, AND ROCK THE RED!!!
