Being a lifelong Caps fan--and by that, I mean SINCE THE FRANCHISE BEGAN!!--I guess I needed a place to devote space to writing about them.
Oh, and for the record, Joe Beninati coined the title of this blog in describing Ovechkin's sliding-on-his-belly goal a few years ago against Phoenix. Apt description, AIN'T IT?

All right, ENOUGH'S enough!!
If the Caps are gonna mail it in the rest of the season, I have one favor to ask:
Just put Braden Holtby in goal the rest of the way, all right?? I gotta have some reason to use this picture...lol
