Bored, on a Sunday night
After watching the Wizards demolish the Celtics (& tie up their series at 2 apiece), I remembered I actually have a sports blog on here. So…for the first time in quite some time, here goes.
The NEW backup for the Caps?
Nice of both the Wizards and Caps to suddenly show up in the playoffs…WHEN IT FRICKING MATTERS!!! Nothing like having the sports fan base in the DMV hit panic mode, and then suddenly get their head(s) in the game.
Then again, they are playing rivals here in the 2nd round—for the Caps, it’s the Penguins; the Wiz have the Celtics—and to say both series aren’t lacking in intensity would be an understatement. But, DC sports fans have been down this road before: Dive into the toilet in the postseason seems to be the case these past few years.
(Man, I forgot I even had this picture…lol)
Anyway, can’t keep my thoughts together right now, so I’ll go ahead and post this. Enjoy, and let’s hope both the Wiz & Caps move on. (Although I have my doubts…)

Does this work, or what? I never thought I’d see the day when the Wizards would excite me MORE than the Caps. Wow.
Donald Sterling, Adam Silver, and us all.

So I wanted to break my hiatus to share my thoughts on the whole Donald Sterling fiasco. There are five main points that I want to touch upon:
1) I agree with Silver’s actions. The NBA is sending a message, and it was important that it was severe.
2) I would be surprised if Sterling was the only racist in the league.
3) As this is the cause of the moment, it has become politically correct to ostracize Donald Sterling. If someone is asked their opinion on this situation, a lot of people will probably condemn his actions just so they don’t appear racist. Anyone who publicly supports Donald Sterling might appear racist, and no one wants to appear racist, even if they are. Who’d think…?
When’s the last time you saw the Wizards finish above .500…and Michael Jordan wasn’t wearing a Wizards uniform?
Yeah, I know. Blows one’s mind, don’t it? But they’re in the playoffs. Finally, Ted Leonsis made good on his promise to fix the basketball side of his empire.
Build a supporting cast around John Wall, and good things will happen. How deep the Wizards go, is anybody’s guess.
But it’ll be fun to watch…unlike the Caps.
Kinda sums up our feelings towards this season, don’t it? LMAO
(I actually have a Caps-oriented blog on Blogger, but I’ll continue on with this…lol)
Anyway, this has been a disappointment for us Caps fans. My take on this, is George McPhee needs to be fired as GM. Keep Adam Oates, but McPhee goes. Plain and simple.
Also, find the dead weight on this team and cut it. See who’s down at Hershey, who’s NHL-ready, and give them a chance to make an impact on the team.

It’s hard to enjoy this…
Since I’ve linked this blog (as well as my Nats blog on Blogger) to a new site where it should have more people reading…this particular entry is a test of sorts.

Anyway, I for one would rather that RGIII wait until maybe Week 3 before stepping onto the field to start his season. But, who knows?

So, since my “homie” Dre (you can find him here…and here) begged me for this, here is the written edition.
But first, an explanation…
As should be fairly obvious, we DC sports fans simply abhor the arrogant assclowns from Philadelphia. (Booing Santa gets you that label. Duh.) I could go on ad nauseum, but you get the picture.
So, what started this was some dumbass from Philly prattled on about how the Phillies had won 4 straight NL East titles–that is, until last season.
Whereupon I used the phrase “Philly cunt”…and used this little smiley: 😛
Oh, and the word “fucktard” to describe Philly fans in general.
You would’ve thought I’d just flown a jetliner into the World Trade Center, judging from the reactions from my timeline on Twitter.
Yeah, that picture sums up the reactions from these Philly blowjobs…lol
I don’t apologize for this, people. (The above picture, or my opinions on sports fans outside the DC area.)
But this got me thinking. So, here is our view of the totem pole that is the American sports fan(s) as it relates to DC sports fans.
We absolutely despise: Cowturd/Penguins/(overall) Philly sports fans.
We have animosity for: (overall) Philly sports fans/(baseball) Cardinals/Braves fans.
We have tolerance for: NY sports/Pirates/Steelers/Hurricanes/Lightning fans.
Everybody else…we leave alone. I think that covers everything…lol
So, I hope my homie Dre’s happy with this piece. It ain’t a YouTube vid, like he wanted…but it’ll do.
